This happened very quickly. I had to use my Samsung Galaxy S4. I took this shot in my driveway facing East at Sunset. Yes, I know, that sounds a little odd. But these clouds were all over the place over the top of my house.
Okay, I'm going out on a ledge here. I caught one of these last year, and I think I figured out that it was an Acorn Woodpecker. The top of its head is bright red.

Of special note, the front Jeep had a Thompson sub machine gun mounted under the dash and the rear Jeep had a Springfield bolt action WW-II rifle. The front Jeep also had a hand crank telephone and a shortwave radio, plus it was loaded with ammo boxes.
Click Photo to Enlarge I am learning all the time. While photographing this young buck, a beautiful Red Fox emerged from the bushes right behind me. I wish I would have had a nice point and shoot with me. I was thinking about settings on my Canon DSLR, and the fox got away. Lesson learned. Be prepared with a second camera.
