Hiding Heron

| Click Photo to Enlarge Actually, I was the one who was hiding - behind some bushes near the pond. I had a pretty good hunch this Green Heron would venture out onto the sand near the pond, and I was right. But, the bushes did interfere with my view, and the photograph. |

| Click Photo to Enlarge This turtle is very hard to photograph. I have known that he lived in this pond for a month. At the mere sight of a human, he slips into the water. He usually sits on this log, and I finally captured a picture of him this evening. |
